(“Revel Street,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with our websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope and Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process about visitors, registered users, and customers of the Services. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or applications that may be linked to or integrated with the Services. Our Services are intended for use by adults and are not directed to anyone under 18 years of age.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you provide directly to us, information collected automatically when you use the Services, and information we receive from service providers and other sources.

2.1 Information you provide. We collect account and profile information such as your name, business or work email address, phone number, employer, job role, and account credentials. If you purchase a subscription, payment card information is collected and processed by Stripe. We also collect content and files you upload or enter into the Services, which may include venue-related files, floorplans, images, notes, and other materials that may contain personal information of you or third parties.

2.2 Information collected automatically. When you access or use the Services, we automatically collect certain information about your device and usage, such as IP address, device and browser type, operating system, identifiers associated with your device, referring and exit pages, timestamps, language settings, and your interactions with the Services. We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to facilitate core functionality, maintain sessions, understand usage, and measure the effectiveness of our content.

2.3 Information from service providers and other sources. We may receive information from service providers that assist with analytics, marketing, and customer communications, including Google Analytics, PostHog, and HubSpot, as well as from payment processing by Stripe. We may also receive information you make available to us through events, surveys, or communications.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information such as government identifiers or precise geolocation.

We use personal information for the following purposes: (a) to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services, including account creation, authentication, and customer support; (b) to process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe; (c) to communicate with you about transactions, account status, security alerts, and administrative messages; (d) to send product updates, announcements, and marketing communications. All users, including non-admin end users, may manage marketing preferences and opt out of marketing communications while continuing to receive transactional or service-related messages; (e) to perform analytics and product research, including through Google Analytics, PostHog, and HubSpot, to understand usage and improve features; (f) to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security risks, and technical issues; and (g) to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms. Revel Street does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in applicable U.S. state privacy laws. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to provide and secure the Services, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may impair the functionality of the Services. We recognize and honor Global Privacy Control signals for opt-out preferences where required by law. For analytics, we currently use Google Analytics and PostHog. For marketing automation and communications, we use HubSpot and may use Mailchimp or Instantly. These providers process data pursuant to their own policies.

5. How We Share Personal Information

We disclose personal information as follows: (a) with service providers that process information on our behalf to support the Services, including hosting and infrastructure providers such as AWS or Supabase, analytics and marketing providers such as Google Analytics, PostHog, and HubSpot, productivity and email providers, and Stripe for payment processing; (b) in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction; (c) to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of Revel Street, our users, or the public; and (d) with your consent or at your direction. We do not share personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

6. Customer Data and AI Training

Customer Data is processed as described in the Terms. We do not use Customer Data to train machine learning or artificial intelligence models. We may generate aggregated or de-identified information from Customer Data and usage of the Services, and we may use and disclose such aggregated or de-identified information for business purposes, provided that it does not identify you or any individual.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Following termination of an account, Customer Data is available for export for 30 days and is then deleted from active systems in the ordinary course. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days and are then purged according to backup rotation schedules.

8. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. In the event of a security incident affecting personal information, we will notify affected users without undue delay and in any case no later than 30 days where required by law, and we will provide information about the nature of the incident and steps taken to mitigate potential harm.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the rights to request access, correction, deletion, and to opt out of certain processing. You may also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information as defined in U.S. state privacy laws, although Revel Street does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
